As it continues, Stewie and Brian decide to make a trip to the North Pole. The main plot line of BoJack and Todd in the real world takes a backseat in favor of showing the actual special as it would have been produced, with some interjecting moments. In classic BoJack fashion, it dissects the "holiday special" trope to such a degree it becomes uncomfortable but powerful in its own right.
Hallmark Channel has announced that one of its new, original "Countdown to Christmas" movies will begin filming at the historic Biltmore Estate in January. Excellent performances from every member of the cast, especially Eleanor Parker. It is often the case that the word melodrama denotes an inferior film. It's hard to say that the melodrama here has detracted from this movie. It is easy to say that the material demands the melodrama and the movie steers into it. This is like a night time soap and it is a good example of one.
